WrenchWay: A New Way for Schools to Connect with Industry

Connecting industry to education is often a challenge. For some schools and programs, there are valuable connections to industry via the teacher, for some it is the administrator or coordinator, and for some it is the advisory committee.

The great news is that there are some solutions that are on the horizon. WrenchWay is excited to announce a new FREE online platform that makes it easier for high schools and post-secondary schools with automotive, diesel, or collision programs to connect with industry.

The WrenchWay School Connect platform will allow:

  •  Schools to post requests for tools, supplies, and training they need for their programs.
  • Shops and dealerships to respond to schools and provide the requested donations or training.
  • Shops and dealerships to post resources/donations they have available.

“We view WrenchWay School Connect as a local solution to a national problem. This new platform will eliminate some of the barriers schools and industry both face by acting as a conduit between the two,” Mark Wilson, CEO of WrenchWay, explains. “Schools will be able to create a wishlist to help better their programs, while shops will have direct influence of our future technicians,”
