Hallock Dealer Brings Students and Educators Together

C&M Chrysler / Ford in Hallock, MN recently brought Automotive Students from four area High Schools to see presentations and meet with representatives from Mopar CAP-Local at Dakota County Tech College, Ford ASSET at Hennepin Tech College, and Automotive Technology at Northland College at Thief River Falls.  The students also heard about working in a dealership environment from dealer employees and dealer owner Paul Blomquist.

Students viewed new technology and education presentations from the representatives, who then answered student questions in a panel forum.  The students then toured C&M’s dealership facility with Service Manager Tim Peterson and viewed technology at work at the dealership, while having a lunch hosted by the dealership.

These young people are the future of our business and we are going to need many of them to fill key spots in our workforce

Paul Blomquist

C&M is celebrating 50 years in business and is looking to Minnesota Technical education for its future.
