Girls in Aviation Day 2023

Registration is open for our 2023 Girls in Aviation Day event!
GIAD is a free community event focused on sharing aviation and STEM careers with girls ages 8 to 17 – HOWEVER – everyone is welcomed to attend!
Bring your family, your troop, your group, and learn about the amazing opportunities available in the aviation industry! Representatives from air lines, military, flight schools, general aviation, and more sectors will be on hand to share what their companies do and have to offer.
Hosted on Saturday September 23rd at Flying Cloud Airport’s Jetlinx facility from 10am to 3pm, your Stars of the North are excited about the many opportunities to share the aviation and aerospace industries with YOU!
– By popular demand, the Rising Stars program is returning! This specialized track for those girls going into 9th to 12th grade offers hands-on activities and some special treats, so plan to secure a spot for yourself or your child before we sell out. (this is a paid experience at GIAD, with advanced registration preferred).
– The Crooked Path panel series will be returning too! You won’t want to miss hearing the stories from our panel of women industry professionals who share their pathways into and during their individual aviation careers. Bring your questions and be ready to be inspired!
– Many volunteers will be needed, so please consider spending some of your Saturday with us. Bring a friend and make the day even more fun!
– Exhibitors / static displays of aircraft are always appreciated; thank you for sharing your professional industry affiliations with the event attendees! Aviation / STEM companies, flight schools / universities, industry chapter / clubs, and those in the aviation world are welcomed.
– Sponsorships are vital to hosting and growing this free community event. Multiple opportunities are available for nearly any budget; we look forward to discussing your participation with #giad23!
