Minnesota Transportation Center

The MN Transportation Center was started in January of 2013 in response feedback from industry “listening sessions” held in 2012. The Transportation Center supports workforce alignment through development of partnerships among business, industry and education in order meet the current and future needs of the state’s transportation industries. The Center strives to fulfill workforce needs of business and industry and align the supply of graduates with employers’ needs in terms of numbers of graduates, location of programs and degree attainment. The Center coordinates alignment of skills and knowledge needed by employers with what is taught in instructional programs while providing outreach to improve student awareness of employment markets.

Minnesota Transportation Center is an innovative collaboration of Minnesota State Colleges, Universities, and industry dedicated to educating and training workers for high-demand careers in the transportation industry.
