Core Objective Measurement of Program and Academic Success Strategic Project (COMPASS)

COMPASS is a structured, collaborative project that helps colleges strengthen their transportation programs. It’s a supportive process that brings faculty, administrators, students, and advisory boards together to identify strengths, surface challenges, and set goals for success.

WHY PARTICIPATE?

THE PROCESS

The COMPASS process begins with the TCOE meeting with instructors and administrators, who each complete assessments of program strengths and needs. Input is then gathered from advisory boards and students to provide a well-rounded picture. Next, the TCOE brings instructors and administrators together to review results, celebrate successes, and prioritize areas for improvement. From there, schools can set clear goals, identify action steps with the TCOE providing ongoing follow-up and support through check-ins.
